The election of Corbyn is only an internal party election for the leadership of Labour who are currently in opposition to the ruling Conservative Party. That might not turn out bad - having Corbyn as their leader makes the Labour Party unelectable for any rational person.

As for the refugee/immigration mess, alas IMHO it has already gone too far in Britain as in the rest of western europe. Civil conflict on the scale of Syria is inevitable...
