Make no mistake, Perot would have won had he not exited the race and then re-entered with that weird excuse about his families safety.
Also Perot was running 3rd party which allowed both Bush and Clinton to gang up on him during the presidential debates.
I don’t think Perot could have won. In hindsight can’t help but wonder if he was in the race just to help Clinton. Without Perot in the race, Bush might have squeaked out a 2nd term.
I look back at that Election and rue my vote for Perot. Even more so than my vote for McCain. I just feel like I got duped.
If Jeb somehow gets the nomination, I’m voting for None of the Above for POTUS.
