Trump has vastly inflated his wealth by pricing his "brand" as the major "source" of his "wealth" (his bottom line is inflated by pricing his name recognition as worth billions of dollars).
Bottom line: It's about Trump's bottom line.

Trump explained that at the time it was his obligation as a businessman to get along well with everybody.

He’s low in the polls, so there is no harm to Trump or Cruz. And you’re right that this isn’t a national issue so I don’t think he’s doing it for poll points.
If he’s going to use his candidacy to come here to Nevada and explain how we can throw education back to local rather than the state or fed, we should welcome that.
We’re 49th in the entire US when it comes to education and they keep bringing the losers up from Las Vegas to further wreck our schools.
There is an alternative to raising taxes again or laying off good teachers. Not everyone can afford to live in Galena or Incline Village.
