He’s right insofar as sending bills up for Obama to veto, just for show, is a waste—though it is what the GOPe pundits are now saying should be done.
But he’s wrong about needing to wait for a GOP president—Congress holds the power of the purse and Obama shouldn’t have funding for anything the GOP doesn’t want to give him.
Period.
It is NOT a waste for him to send up bills that Obama will Veto!! THAT IS HIS JOB!! THAT’S WHY HE WAS ELECTED!! To at LEAST TRY!!
