ISIS does have aircraft, many reports from a year ago about this.

But this AA equipment is aimed at NATO forces, not ISIS.

That is incorrect. They have no air assets at all. Assad has retained a semblance of air power, but it is of limited value given the regional logistics.

Yes, to prevent a NFZ, and protect transports of X? against IAF sorties.
