I have to admit, I’ve seen the guy on TV since the incident and he seemed to handle it with class and really not want to be bothered by reporters.

He was polished and professional looking. which would make him in black circles an “Uncle Tom”

Someone had identified the tennis star as the perp who...I don’t remember. But it’s not like they arrested him out of the blue. Still, I don’t see why they have to tackle him instead of walk up and ask for ID, etc.

He has been very classy about it.
Had to be degrading to him.

How about asking for ID before putting someone on the pavement?

He was identified by a witness as a credit card thief.
Ironically, the guy who he supposedly looked just like . . was innocent, too.

The cop accused of body-slamming former tennis star James Blake during a mistaken arrest has a checkered past that includes five civilian complaints in just seven months and two excessive-force lawsuits. He has been stripped of his badge and gun.

He's actually mixed-race. I think his mother is a white British woman.

The cop in the video looks like a black guy, too.

Don't ask questions like that. Cops can do no wrong. Ever.

I admire the very dangerous and tough job than many, many good officers do day in and day out. But when a cop does something wrong, it does not help the good officers at all for people to defend bad behavior.

This looked like a 'black while standing' take down.

Nah, that makes too much sense.

Gotta have a TV-style “Cops” takedown.

When I first saw the guy on TV, he looked like a white guy to me (this was when he was interviewed). He was on TV a couple days ago, too. I had no idea he was bi-racial.

Now, Rachel D., OTOH....

He definitely looked mixed. Either way, seems like a nice enough guy,

A lot of incidences happen with black or hispanic cops, as there are many more than there used to be.

But that is left out of the equation because it doesn’t fit the #blacklivesmatter agenda.

And, it would help if the undercover cop had identified himself before attacking him.
Here in NC, a cop could get shot if he attacked without identifying himself.

In what fantasy world credit card fraud qualify for that kind of takedown? Mistaken identity or not, this now ex-cop is a poster child for what never should happen. Damn, it's not like he was selling loose cigarettes!
