The Palestinian Authority responded unenthusiastically Thursday to offers by Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu to come to Ramallah and renew peace talks unconditionally with the Palestinian Authority (PA).
According to Kol Yisrael radio, Palestinian prime minister Rami Hamdallah said that the Palestinians are interested in a new framework for talks. He explained that the talks would not be renewed if a date is not set for ending them, and if the problem of borders is not discussed.
Another senior PA official, top Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat, said that the idea of returning to the unconditional negotiations is a trap. He said that the condition for renewed talks is that the Europeans vouch for Israeli recognition of Palestinian rights, including Jerusalem and the 'Right of Return.
In addition, he said, all construction in the "settlements" must cease, and the Israel must free the fourth batch of terror prisoners who were to be released in the previous round of Israeli gestures.

SOMEONE had to do it!
Can't trust those damn Pennsylvanians any farther than you can throw them!
The PA should be pounding down the door to the White House while Obama is still there as he will probably just give them Israel and $100 Billion and say that was the best we can do.
McConnell would then agree, by default if necessary.
no negotiations with terrorist murdering thugs in Ramallah or anywhere else is worth while
(unless Bibi can arramge to bring in some of those great IDF sharp shooters to send a bunch of the enemy off to collect their rewards in Hell... now that would be worthwhile!)
It is past time for Israel to clarify its need for defensible borders. Therefore, a negotiation should be scheduled where assigning the acres or square meters that Israel needs will be the topic of discussion.
If the PA will attend, they will be provided with microphones and whiteboards and a chance to make their case.
If the PA will not attend, then Israel shall assume that the PA has accepted the partition of land that Israel needs.
