CAIR Joins Black Lives Matter Movement

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) has joined the Black Lives Matter movement.
As Michelle Moons reported, CAIR leaders and members joined Black Lives Matter in a march on the California State Capitol on Wednesday, targeting Gov. Jerry Brown’s office over a new bill that, in part, would expand bans on racial profiling to include perceived ethnicity.
As police officers are being targeted across the nation, CAIR has sided with their enemies.
That creates a serious problem for CAIR’s defenders, which argue that its associations with Islamic extremism can be overlooked because it helps law enforcement work with, and within, the Muslim community.

Yeah so let’s do the math.
325 million in US.
12% are black = 39 million
63% are white = 148 million
Out of 39 million let ‘s be generous and say 20% are up for the fight that is 7.8 million.
Out of 148 million let’s say 40% (the rough number that vote conservative) fight that is 59.2 million.
59 million against 7 million and the 59 are well armed. Hmm...

I seem the recall that the DNC issued a statement of support for the BLM just last week.
I see a potential solution to this problem, but the trouble is, the problem is pretty much limited to big cities run by squishy liberal Democrats. Where the solution would work most effectively is in conservative Republican controlled areas.
In any event, if some radical group declares open season on LEOs, in many states, Sheriffs are empowered to create armed civilian posses. So imagine if LEOs, in their vehicles, get a “ride along” with say four armed civilians, in “overwatch”, who tag along and remain in their car unless they see a potential threat to an officer.
Then they just honk their horn. This puts the officer on alert to a serious threat. And if the threat materializes despite officer awareness, say a gang or mob of armed attackers, the civilians are able to counter a much larger mob, strictly following the lead of the officer.
If he opens fire, they will give a serious support barrage.
In the vast majority of cases, of course, they would keep their distance and just sit there quietly. Four pairs of eyes to watch the cops’ back.
Yet if some wilding mob decided to lynch some police, they might find themselves under withering flanking fire.
Interesting that what I had proposed is, after a fashion, now being used in Phoenix against its freeway shooter(s).
