MOSCOW (AP) Iran has granted permission for Russian planes to fly over its territory en route to Syria, Russian news agencies said Wednesday, a bypass needed after Bulgaria refused overflights amid signs of a Russian military buildup in Syria that has concerned the U.S. and NATO.
The news agencies quoted Maxim Suslov, spokesman for the Russian Embassy in Tehran, as saying it has received Iranian permission for Syria-bound flights. After Bulgaria rejected Moscow's overflight request for Sept. 1-24, a path via Iran and Iraq appeared to be the only one left, as Russia apparently sought to avoid flying over Turkey, which in 2012 grounded a Syria-bound plane carrying radar parts from Moscow.
There was no immediate confirmation from Iran.

Iran and Russia becoming more cozy.
ISIS and Iran pals?
Putin knows a wuss (Obama) when he sees one.
I thought they always were, they both back Assad. I think ISIS is a bigger threat than Assad right now.
A WILLING wuss. Obama basically has the same New World Order goals/agenda as the Russians and ChiComs. Weaker US, stronger Russia and China.
From the Sino-Russian Joint Statement of April 23, 1997:
"The two sides [China and Russia] shall, in the spirit of partnership, strive to promote the multipolarization of the world and the establishment of a new international order."

Obama: "We Welcome China's Rise"

China is joining Russia in Syrian military operations- announced today
Take that, Barry. You da man talking smack to Putin for not flying rainbow flags at the kremlin, what chu gonna say to insult our Chinese imperial overlords?
Or gee they could always send stuff to Cyprus as I believe Putin rented or bought himself a base there for helping Cyprus get through its financial crisis
They have the exact same problem sending material and men to Cypress.
Rainbow flags and global warming are the ONLY things that Obama cares about. Well, it seems he wants to help radical Islam take over and they don’t fly rainbow flags, but he probably figures it’s better than having those pesky Christians around.
He has been cozy with Egypt too since they can’t count on us anymore to fight Obama’s terrorist buddies.
I don’t think we’d see Bulgaria denying Russian air flights to Paphos air base
I bet Bulgaria will do whatever the US asks them to.
Pootie Putin will do what he wants. Bulgaria better watch out. Worst comes to worst—Russia will send their guys and guns by sea from the black Sea. Putin knows he can get away with a great deal with Obama as a lame duck. Watch as Assad launches an attack on ISIS—under the cover of the Red Air Force. Whe the Russians start to free slaves and Christians they will be seen as Heroes. Will they leave when the war is over? I think Not.
From what I’ve seen they already did.
