I think any judge, from Justice of the Peace to Supreme Court Justice that identifies or allows himself to be identified with a political party is unfit for the bench.
The United States is becoming more and more like a banana republic, where the judiciary is a rubber stamp for whoever is in power. A prime example is the SCOTUS ruling on Obamacare and gay “marriage”.
