I'd say put the SA Jay team on probation with no football games for the remaining season and next year. The next time a player or coach thinks of doing this they'd better think twice. Criminal charges is only opening up a kettle of fish and the future of lawyers screwing up a high school sport. There is a precedent in Texas of this that happened back in the early 1960’s where fans accosted refs for calling a really bad game and the team was prohibited from playing HS football for a year. It was unfortunate because the team had one of the best football teams in the state that probation year.

Supposedly one of the assistant coaches made a remark about the ref to his team, including these two little cretins. The little a-hole football player bullies I remember from high school grow up to be big a-hole football coaches who teach the next generation of a-holes. Circle of life.
