Radar wouldn’t make a difference. It would come in so fast they would barely see it.
Isn’t this a warning to aircraft on virtually the entire US east coast for almost an entire month that radar systems may not warn them of close calls ?
And that they need to maintain visual awareness?
Would the military put all the civilian aviation on some of the most heavily trafficked air routes in the US under a risk like this for a month... for an exercise?
