The White House is firing back at former Vice President Dick Cheney.
Cheney has long been a fierce critic of President Barack Obama. But in recent days, he has been publicly savaging the administration's Iran nuclear deal with new intensity while promoting his new book.
In a seemingly unusual reaction, the White House on Tuesday used its official social-media accounts to promote a video blasting Cheney for his comments.
The video stressed that Cheney was a leading proponent of the US invasion of Iraq in 2003. It also noted that the former vice president continued to argue that he was "right" to back the invasion even though intelligence agencies never found the weapons of mass destruction that were used to justify the war.
"Right? About the Iraq War?" the video asked in all capital letters while playing a series of clips from interviews in which Cheney's credibility was challenged.

Cute turn of phrase here. This statement is accurate, but deliberately misleading in two ways. Our troops found the weapons of mass destruction, not the intel agencies, and they were not the only thing that justified the war.

Forgive me, Lord, but it I feel compelled to hate Obama, not at all for his color, but for the damage he has intentionally done to our country. I cannot help but believe he will one day have the blood of many on his hands. . . I guess he already does for his record on abortion and unilateral withdrawal from Iraq, and there are other things I could mention as well.

But it was Axlegrease, Plouffy, and Messina who were able to re-elect a guy with $4 gas, skyrocketing food prices, trillion dollar deficits, 8% unemployment (13% actual), Benghazi, and Obamacare.

I seem to recall that Barbara Boxer was opposed to the Iraq invasion because US troops could be targets for nuclear weapons.
