Pitbulls can actually be the best dog you’ve ever owned. It is in every dog to love and be loved. Whomever owned this dog before was probably cruel to it. It all boils down to how they are raised. I’ve seen pitbulls chained to a fence post, just waiting for someone to come close enough to grab on to, and I’ve also seen them rolling around with children. Hell if you smack anything around enough it will eventually become aggressive.

Normally a rabid dog such as this would have been impaled or clubbed at the moment of assault. A quick and violent deserving death for the killer dog.
That’s probably the same line of BS they gave poor Mr. Neira and his daughter right before the attack.
Waiting for the folks who will blame the owners.
My Veterinarian tried to convince me to adopt a stray pit bull she had rescued. It looked friendly enough and I gave it some consideration but in the end I have 2 small grandchildren and will not take the risk. If something happened I would consider it my fault.
Pitbulls are the muslims of the dog world. They cannot be trusted.
in our local city shelter, 90%+ of the dogs are pit bulls - all from the ghetto.
Adopting any pet means taking a chance. You have to closely observe them for a few days, introducing them slowly to their new home and family. No one can ever be 100% sure how a new dog will react, I don’t care how many tests they give it.

Like with types of people, reputations are usually earned. While reputations do not apply to every member of the group it is a factor to consider.
Please feel free to take that chance with your children, but don't let one of them near my grandkids! Pit Bulls are like Muslims...close enough, to enough of them, long enough and eventually they'll attack you.
I guess owners of pit bulls are more cruel than owners of other dogs. I am not being sarcastic. If the above premise is valid, it's the only conclusion one can come to in view of the number of pit bull attacks on humans and animals.

If my neighbor brought one of these dogs home, I’d make it my job to destroy it.
I would not take a rescue pit bull because I could never know it’s history. My pit I raised from a pup and he was best fiend and protector to my grandkids and numerous cats for 15 years. What has been done to the dog known as “America’s nanny” is absolutely criminal.
