The Jeb Bush campaign's first TV ad, set to air starting Wednesday, will highlight his record as Florida governor while taking what appears to be a veiled shot at Donald Trump.

The ad, viewed by Fox News, goes out Wednesday in New Hampshire markets. It is a relatively small $500,000 buy.

Team Jeb had to cut staffers salaries and fire a bunch of consultants in order scrape up a measly $500k for a NH ad buy!

Why haven't Right To Rise filed their FEC forms for the multi-million dollar advertising blitz they promised their donors?

Why the hesitation?

Does the video of Jeb’s time as governor mention Terri Schiavo?

I’d like to know about the Bush family and Lehman brothers...

The ad is wrong, wrong, wrong in combining a positive message for Jeb with a shot at his opponents, risking confusion for the public and diluting the potential positive effect of the ad on opinion about Jeb. Violating that settled political ad practice is a sign that Jeb and his people are — foolishly — eager to hit back at Trump with cheap shots. One gets the sense that Jeb and his team are privately furious that Trump has transgressed against Jeb’s entitlement to the GOP nomination.

Wow, save your money, Jeb. Mr. Excitement delivers a sleep-inducing ad. Won’t change one mind or vote.

Jeb was governor of Florida almost a decade ago. Since then he’s been cashing in on his crony-capitalist government relationships. The time is past for people like him.

He looks like an animatronic. Raise eyebrows now. Tilt head 10°. Blink.

Jeb's finest moment /sarc

He didn't have the courage to protect the weakest and let her die horribly against the wishes of her loving parents. Frankly speaking, the Governor of Florida is not a strong executive position like that of POTUS or the NJ governor (not that I think Christie's any good, either)

Trump or Cruz...looks like Trump.

This type of Bush TV ad is like telling people the train ride to the gulag is very scenic.

What would a political add be, if not self-promotion?

Who is advising this guy, Chelsea Clinton?
