Hewitt and Megyn Kelly must have compared notes.

Nonsense. Kelly flung filibustered accusation after accusation. Hewitt asked relevant foreign policy questions.

Hewitt considers Islamic terror and the situation in the Middle East to be paramount presidential concerns and asks keystone questions to determine the level of knowledge on the subject. A question he always asks is Did you read The Looming Tower? A question he asks of liberals is Do you believe Alger Hiss was a communist?

Tough questions, yes. Gotchas, no.

I was appalled at Kelly in the debate. I was embarrassed for Trump when he made the gaff during the Hewitt interview, but honestly, Trump made a pretty good save. His post-interview attacks on Hewitt were misguided.

That is total bs.

If Hewitt was so concerned about the Middle East he would not be all in for the Corker bill. The other day I heard him rationalize why this bill was so good that it showed how all in he is for the rinos at any cost even if the country gets blown up.

We are getting the Iran bill because of the Corker bill and because the rinos do not want to do anything. Hewitt is all in for those types.

The way he supports this Corker bill shows how pathetic he is and not that concerned about the Middle East. You can see he does not want to talk about it and wants to avoid his support of that bill which he knows is a political nightmare and very dangerous to the country.

So in order to deflect blame from himself he makes Trump look like the bad guy.

More concerned with the suspicious nature of the Fiorina interview. Lisen to it. That makes the Trump one suspicious as well...

Newt Gingrich in Sunday’s “Face the Nation” really nailed down the “Gotcha Question” controversy:

“The truth is, no national leader knows anything about the head of Quds force; so they say they may have memorized the name; they don’t know what school he went to, they don’t know what faction he belongs to; they don’t know whether or not he was in Moscow recently. I mean, this is not presidential stuff. He’s going to hire a Secretary of State, he’s going to hire a national security adviser; he’s going to have a chairman of the Joint Chiefs; he’s going to have a Secretary of Defense. The real question is: so what would you do about them.”

“First of all, we have no idea what the effect of Trump will be over six months or a year and how dramatically the messages will change. He’s now met with the head of the Mexican Chamber of Commerce; he’s about to meet with their board… I think he’s modulating; I think he is learning. The one thing I’ve always found to be true with Trump is: I think he learns faster than any other political figure I’ve known except Bill Clinton. And I think it’s a big mistake to assume that the Donald Trump who you saw yesterday is the Donald Trump you’re going to see a month from now.”
