...his implicit racism...implicit? - oh yeah - that's like I want to call him a racist but I can't actually find anything racist he's done or said, so I'll just pretend it's there anyhow - tacky and stupid, even for Krugman

In your mind maybe, but not mine. You’re projecting the worship, and the kool aid labels, too. I worship only the Lord Elohim and His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. And even as a kid I didn’t like kool aid much. It only made me thirstier.

you do worship Trump, in the political sense....and by you, I mean probably 80% of his FR supporters. You always project dark motives on anyone who doesn’t agree, you always project your own fantasies onto what Donald “really means” - and when he’s all over the place on an issue, you insist he only meant it when he swerved into the right position, and then you add the ridiculous and totally intellectually vacuous idea that if you don’t support Trump, that you don’t want to fight, want status quo blab blah blah.

Guess we’ll have to call it a draw, for now. Time will clear it all up, one way or another. Happy trails.

The only way to read it is to subscribe. No thanks. I’m “up to here” with the old codger who owns WSJ, and FNC, etc.

The initial 3 lines are about unions. Whatever the rest of it had to say; I think Trump has worked with, and without unions since Hector was a pup, and STILL managed to build a very beautiful, pristine-looking $11 Billion empire.

My assessment of our National predicament is that Trump is the ONLY one in the running who not only doesn’t have to genuflect to anyone for handouts, but also has the stones, the grit, the backbone, the chops to persevere through the shit storm you and the other media are warming up to throw at him; e.g., your gleeful prediction re the WSJ article.

But he also is the only one with sufficient gumption to bust up the Corrupt Bastards Club in DC once he is inaugurated. So, if he stumbles to some degree on unions, he can recover and learn from it. I will not throw the baby out with the bath water. He’s all we’ve got. This is our last chance to turn the Country back toward our Founding Principles. We’re circling the drain. It’s now or never.

In closing; a friendly word of caution. It’s beginning to appear that Trump is living rent-free inside your head. Don’t succomb to TDS.

Trump is not there, but you kool aid knee pad idiots do bother me....because my entire point is truth, and you ignore so much of it.

But thanks for admitting that you are too ignorant to know how to easily get past a pay wall, and too ignorant to recognize fundamental transformation of your country even when it’s right before your eyes.

You silver-tongued devil. You have such a way with words. Darn shame you’d waste them in what appears to be a struggle to maintain the status-quo.

The Trump people are comvinced that our ONLY two choices are the status-quo, which includes, and concludes with our Bill of Rights going slurping down the drain, a la the 5 rogues’ sodomite opinion on SCOTUS; and/or the imperious judge in Kentucky.

The other choice is Trump and Cruz. Trump, who has the $$$$, the stones and the dtermination to turn us around and away from our circling the drain. And bust up the Corrupt Bastards Club.

Crus needs to be Veep, so that after Trump rights the ship of State and presides for 8 years, Cruz can continue on the right path for 8 more years. We’ve been on this downward swirl for decades. It won’t be corrected in one term.

And one FINAL word in the form of a question. Would you please pause the criticism, forget Trump briefly, and tell us all WHOM we SHOULD be supporting for POTUS, and WHY we should be doing it?
Thank you.

actually, I don’t disagree with much of what you said at all. Still just plain stupid to call me a GOPer. That’s just pathetic.

I would prefer Cruz to Trump by a wide margin. I wish Cruz would break out of his shell a bit and learn from the Donald. He might do that. The Donald I’m afraid is not teachable, and there’s gonna be a leftist boomerang from him thats’ going to embarrass those who blindly support him (as opposed to the 20% or so who support him with caveats and so on). It may be as nominee. It may be as President. It may be in this next debate. But it’s coming. It’s WHO HE IS. An alligator is an alligator.

Sea World and Vegas have learned that tigers are tigers and killer whales are killer whales. Eventually, they revert to nature.

Thank you.
I disagree in regard to a Trump collapse. I’ve SCRUTINIZED his comportment out on the stump. I have been very gratified to watch him speak for upwards of an hour or more, without any props beside a scrap of paper containing a few bullet points. He never comes across as a weaseling politician. He just speaks to the crowd like plain old folks. When he gives a presser he takes many, many questions, and answers them straight from the shoulder with no equivocation.

He does not suffer fools, though. Ask him an obvious gotcha question and you’ll receive the scorn you deserve. Just ask Hewitt. Trump made an honest attempt to answer Hewitt’s initial gotcha, never suspecting that Hugh would stoop to that. But when the follow up was also an obvious gotcha, Trump told him to go pound sand. I wouldn’t have gone that easy on him.

Unless provoked, Trump is courteous to a fault. But he, like I, and millions of others, are so tired of wimpy, pantywaist, hanky twisting spineless candidates, a la Romney, that we are ecstatic to have a candidate who brooks no cheap shots.

So I am optimistic that the wave building for Trump will continue to swell. And that wave will carry him into the White House. Trump’s people have had it with the GHW Bushes, GWB to some extent, the Doles and Kemps and McCains. Hell, McCain is actually a member of the Corrupt Bastards Club, along with Grahamnesty, and Boehner and McConnell and Corker and many others.

I, we, are ready to puke from the way those bastarda have bettayed us. We’re sticking with Trump, warts and all.

Warts and all!
Have you read Wayne Allyn Root’s column about Donald Trump’s Mouth - A Nuclear Bomb?
Take a look. It might help you understand why so many of us have decided on Trump.

I really must shake my head in wonderment at how difficult it can be to communicate with intellectuals in general; and in this case, you in particular.

I attempted to give you my take on the vibes I get when I listen to Trump speak on the stump. And you took one little aspect and misconstrued the hell it of it. In this case, I said he speaks in a simple, straightforward, folksy manner, from a scrap of paper with a few bullet points.

That apparently was construed to mean that I sit slackjawed with wonderment, elbowing my wife and marveling, “Look, Myrtle! He don’t even need no garsh dang notes when HE talks!”

Because, what I got back was,”He’s not the only one that can speak without scripted notes, and he contradicts himself, sometimes within seconds....”

Well, yeah. He can’t walk on water, either. But I, for one, am supporting him; warts and all. And in all fairness, I think in most cases, since he speaks without a script, what you see, and disdain, and condemn, is not a contradiction, but an attempted clarification or amplification of what he’d said very brifly, seconds ago.

I can think of no clearer or more concise way of expressing my support for Trump. I support him, WARTS AND ALL.

First of all, I fully understand why so many have decided on Trump. It's for the same reasons I'll vote for him if he gets the nomination. DUH. I get it. I got this anti Washington anti estab stuff probably 20 years before you did. 15 years before Trump did. I have never not understood it for a minute.

What I do not understand is the worshipful nature, the looking the other way on imbedded liberalism, and the assumption that everyone who doesn't borrow your knee pads must be an establishment hack. I cannot be so stupid as to do, think, or act in any such manner.

BTW, Wayne and I are friends....have been for years. We've done numerous interviews together. As I said, I fully understand the why...I don't understand some of the fan boi stuff. Actually, I understand that, but I'm shocked by it.

Doubt me? Yes, I have proof.

I believe you.
And I want you to know that although I disagree with much of what you say about Trump, I have no rancor or ill will toward you, whatsoever. I hope that in the good old U.S.A. we can still butt heads and argue our positions without any of that, regardless who turns out to be right....or wrong.
Happy trails.
