Only if McDumbo lets it. He has options. But he will kiss Obozo's butt again and let the Dems have their way.

IMHO, a “filibuster” will NOT block — if Senator McConnell:

1. Declares that saving America from Iranian nuclear bombs is MORE IMPORTANT than “saving” a Senate procedural “rule”, thereby “nuking” that filibuster rule, at least with respect to international treaties.

RESULT: The “deal” is disapproved — as the majority of Americans want. Senator McConnell is a hero. And the WH can NOT claim that Congress supported it.

or 2. Declares that the “Iran Deal” is a TREATY in spite of its deliberately misleading “label” and then conducts a role-call vote on that TREATY.

Results: That TREATY fails. Senator McConnell is a hero to a majority of Americans.

If the WH threatens to “sue” the Senate by claiming that this TREATY is not a “treaty” because of its oh-so-cute label”, let them.

While that litigation proceeds, Iran does not get the money, which is what they really want....

All it takes is for Senator McConnell to use the power he has.

Reid may already have 41 votes in the bag, and the last few are just waiting to make it seem like they are giving careful consideration or something. They may just be debating which 2 of the remaining 5 can be allowed to “defect”.

If it doesn't get a vote then it become law automatically. That little move received 99 votes out of 100 with only Senator Tom Cotton or Arkansas voting against it.

The only way it can be stopped is to vote it down with a veto proof majority.

Well there are other ways to do it but it would require McConnel to make a move and since he is the one that enabled the Corker amendment then there is no reason to think he will now move against it. It is after all a treaty disguised as a trade agreement.

Just go back through the threads on TPA and find out how wise Cruz was considered for giving us a voice. </s>
