In a case that has received remarkably little national attention, 13-year-old Jamarion Lawhorn has been found guilty of first degree murder (by stabbing, on a playground) of 9 year old Connor Verkerke in a Kent County (Grand Rapids) Michigan trial. The relative inattention to the case may have something to do with the respective races of the perpetrator (black) and victim (white).

Was he influenced by the racial rhetoric that was pervasively present on August 15, 2014, the day of the murder? That was only five days after the shooting in Ferguson, MO that sparked national outrage and violence on the false premise of a young black man gunned down while his hands were up. k
One can only imagine the Hate being spewed at home against Whitey & the Police. ...a home where violence was dished out to him almost daily.
Tried as an adult and found guilty of first-degree murder, which certainly will be appealed.
Kid was raised by savages, regularly beaten, and lived in filth. That alone will give him a reduced sentence, but maybe this kid is so broken that he should never be returned to society.

Sounds to me like we have one family grieving the loss of a son, the other really does not give shit.
Not to diminish the death of Connor Verkerke, but Jamarion Lawhorn actions are clearly the result of worse than terrible parenting AND the influence of groups like Black Lives Matter and the NAACP.
Being tried as an adult, I assume as soon as he turns 18 or maybe 21 he will be transferred to an adult prison. There he can really be educated I the Black Lives matter and NOI teachings.

Yes. When I was growing up in Queens, around 1966, a neighbor of mine went over to a bus stop and asked a young Jewish man who had recently been discharged from the Army, where he served as a first lieutenant and platoon leader in Vietnam, if he had the time. When he looked down at his watch, my neighbor drew a knife and plunged it into his heart, killing him almost instantly, in front of a mixed race crowd in line for the bus. My neighbor 'just happened to be' a 15 year old black male. His mother dragged him, in his blood soaked clothing, into the 113th Precinct shortly thereafter.
Fast forward six years. The yute is now 21 and released from juvie hall. He takes advantage of his freedom by strolling over to the laundromat, and tossing a young white man into a dryer and setting to 'wash and wear'. How did New York ever get along with out all these displaced southern agricultural workers?
Two lives lost.
And even less from the media.
If that was true, why did he not remain at the scene?
He’s 13 now. Twelve at the time of the murder.
This is just tragic, for both boys.
I hope after the second time they had enough sense to keep the idiot in jail forever.
