Savage Enemy: How ISIS Wants to Start Armageddon

CBNNews.com Wednesday, September 02, 2015

ISIS, or the Islamic State, is in the news every day. The brutal terrorist army burst on the scene in 2014 when it gobbled up huge swaths of territory in Iraq and Syria.

Today, ISIS controls a land area the size of Great Britain and is the wealthiest jihadist organization in the world.

As ISIS expands, it brings with it chaos and savagery everywhere it goes, beheading its enemies, destroying cultural artifacts and treasures, and displacing millions of Christians and other non-Muslims.

Despite all that we do know about ISIS, the terror group remains shrouded in mystery. Who are they? What do they believe? Why do they hate America?

Robert Spencer, a leading terror expert, answers these questions and more while exposing the blood-drenched history and mysterious inner workings of the Islamic State in his latest book, The Complete Infidel's Guide to ISIS. The book provides an essential primer to comprehending one of the world's most dangerous enemies.

The brutality of ISIS is unquestioned; what remains misunderstood is their strength. Spencer expertly exposes deceptive propaganda and Western misunderstanding of an ever-present threat in an easily accessible and digestible format.

ISIS attracts staggering numbers of followers and commits unspeakable acts of violence. His book exposes the message behind the ever-cryptic ISIS machine, giving us a deeper look into the details of their terror campaign and unprecedented access to ISIS insiders.

In The Complete Infidel's Guide to ISIS, Spencer reveals:

The significance of ISIS declaring itself a "caliphate and why that's an especially dangerous sign for the West. The ISIS timetable for conquering Rome by 2020 and witnessing Israel's fall beginning in 2022. How the Islamic State is working toward starting the battle of Armageddon now.

Why beheading victims remain calm in recruitment videos.

Why ISIS cares about health care.

With its social media presence, cyber knowledge, and false promises of glory, ISIS has a presence on the world stage unlike anything we've encountered before. Spencer's sharp, in-your-face assessment of America's newest enemy affirms they cannot be ignored any longer.

Obama was the their biggest enabler. Iran getting the nukes will ensure it.

Armageddon will occur soon enough, but on God’s timetable, not ISIS.

However, I have no doubt that ISIS and the whole jihad bunch of Islamic terrorists will be right in the middle of things, showing up with bells on and worshiping their Assyrian Imam, AKA the Beast of the Book of Revelation, and will all be completely and totally wiped out by the coming of Christ with ten thousands of His saints and the supernatural blast from the mouth of Jesus Christ.

“This is perfect use for nuclear weapons.”

Actually, Isis is a tiny number of individuals widely scattered. It would be like using a shotgun to kill mosquitos. It might feel good and you might kill a few mosquitos, but the solution to Isis must be an Islamic one.

Right now different Middle East players are trying to use Isis for their own aims. Saudi Arabia wants a pipeline through Syria. Iran wants a direct route to attack Israel. Turkey wants Isis to kill Kurds. I’m sure there are many, many more who think they can tame the beast and leash it for their purposes. But they are all wrong.

In the end, I think Isis will draw the Sunnis and Shias together. The enemy of my enemy is my friend. (At least until the enemy is gone. Then, business as usual.)

I really wasn’t differentiating between classes of muslims. they are all a threat and that threat needs to be eliminated.

“And Russia is sending combat troops to Syria ...”

Most likely, those are contractors. Putin is taking a hit for the estimated 2000 casualties in the Ukraine. I doubt he’s risking more casualties in a war where genocide is the only winning strategy.

There are several flashpoints in the world where a smoldering conflict could erupt into a wider one. Syria is high on the list. I suspect that Taiwan/China, North Korea and South Korea, Pakistan/India, China/India, Iran/US/Israel/Turkey (some combination of those) all have potential. Right now I think Isis has a relatively low probability of widening into a global conflict. But with nukes stolen or gifted from Iran or Pakistan or some as yet unnamed player this could change. The Ukraine has a big potential.

What bothers me about all of this is our president seems like a naïve school boy trying to play in the major leagues because dad has lots of money.

Already sent 6 MiG 31s; 1000 Kornet missiles brought in by Condors; large number of logistical trrops are building mil base in the Jablah district of Lattakia province; US pulled Patriot missiles out of Turkey to ensure no accidental shoot downs of MiGs. Regular Russian combat forces to follow on with US approval.
