Ya. They said as much. No jail time for her. I think that they don’t want to have to deal with a martyr. They are hoping for the drip-drip-drip of eventual acceptance versus an outright confrontation.

They can FINE her, and if she doesn’t pay confiscate her belongings.... hmmm... I wonder how the optics of that would resonate...
