Dramatic audio reveals the tense moment when Illinois police officers discovered the body of a fellow Fox Lake cop lying in a marsh on Tuesday morning, stripped of his gun.
Send everybody you possibly can, an unidentified police officer says. Officer is down.
Police are appealing to the public for help as they widen the perimeter in the search for the killers of 30-year veteran Lt. Charles Joseph Joe Gliniewicz, 52. There are few specifics as to who exactly authorities are searching for, however, as the manhunt enters its second day.
Two white males and one black male have been identified as suspects in the death.
Gliniewicz was shot at approximately 8 a.m. local time Tuesday after he radioed in to tell dispatchers he was chasing three men on foot in Fox Lake. The officer did not make contact with the individuals as a result of a 911 call, but rather he "self-responded," according to Lake County Major Crimes Task Force....

It's seem possible other discrepancies might exist. I will hold back my speculation for now. Does anyone else see anything here?
And if someone obtains or locates audio from the officer to dispatch radioing he was in foot pursuit of the suspects, please ping me.
Correction:
But the dispatcher audio says one white male, one black male suspect. The officer self responded?
Another officer murdered so teamobama can get his obamalaw.
Did one look like bill ayers? Even if he didn’t, shoot him.
"Whatever the case was, the only description was he was going to be out with those three suspects and it was a suspicious circumstances call,
Whatever the case was? How did dispatch know the officer was down and had his gun and pepper spray taken, when the first officer at scene responded to dispatch and confirmed to dispatch "officer was down, send everyone you can".
Was the audio edited? Out of sequence? Missing audio? The audio from the officer victim to dispatch has not been released? Btw I fully understand why they hold back certain evidence information on occasion from the media.
Was there an open microphone after the officer was shot, with dispatch overhearing the suspects?
Was the officer shot twice? I heard one was a head shot.
There seem to be some conflicts here. And I am not sure what they mean "the officer victim self responded to the call".
Lots of questions...If anyone can ping me with any updates on this I would appreciated it.

Also why would one officer who, “Self responded” run after 3 suspects into a somewhat remote swampy area, instead of calling for backup and setting up a perimeter?
Later.
Thanks for that. The reporter on the video is one the right track.
And this guy was 30 days to retire? And he run off into swampy deserted, somewhat remote area to chase 3 suspects. Or is it two suspects? And the officer victim “self responded” to this?
There are lots of issues here which do not seem to add up. And based on what I am hearing about this, the Lake County Major Crimes Task Force Cmdr. Filenko and others are being very tight lipped and what they are saying is very questionable.
I’d bet a cup of coffee there is much more to this than being reported.
I agree. Strange. Keep watching. Glad you posted this.
I am stating to wonder if the officer was lured to this location by the suspects, or maybe there is a remote possibility the officer knew who the suspects were prior to the shoot. What this an intentional hit on a specific cop? Pure speculation here.
Read Fox Lake PD consisted of 3 ft, 3 pt officers. Chief and one officer on paid leave.Probably worked shifts alone. If so, wonder where backup came from.
What did the cop see? What was so important to chase three people alone on foot?
I also know it was reported that his gun and pepper spray were missing, yet today I read a report stating his gun was found on the scene.
Was there any evidence of a physical fight with the suspects, like bruises, etc.? What were these suspects doing that they felt justified killing a cop?
Was there any physical evidence on the scene? Was the location isolated? If so, why was the cop there to begin with? Did he follow the suspects from another location? Were they in the area on foot or did they have a vehicle? Have any vehicles in the area been stolen since the killing? Any fingerprints on anything?
So many questions...
Well...you are definitely stating.....................
It was a typo...”Starting” was the intended word.
Anything else?
No tha I cann C.....
What is “self responding” to the call? Does it mean he heard the dispatch call go out but never confirmed with dispatch he was rolling and responding to it? Was he right there when he observed the suspicious suspects and called it into dispatch himself?
I am not familiar with that term.
Good question.
Heres a timeline of what police say happened Tuesday:
