Which is to say,
And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for TRUTH's sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles.
This is a war on truth itself, because truth = the Word of God.
Well aren’t you compassionate
If you would at least read what she wrote, you could have saved some space here.
You are actually parrotting the talking points of the liberals
So?
More courage in this one woman than in all of Versailles on the Potomac. God keep her safe.
Realistic. You flip off a judge (and that is how the judge will take it) you end up paying the price. She is apparently willing to pay it.
She was married to the husband she has now once before. Actually three times. She came to salvation through Jesus Christ a few years ago when her Mother in law urged her to go to church. Her faith came late in her life, but it is her faith.
Okay, but not even relevant.
“This is a war on truth itself, because truth = the Word of God. “
nod
Think it is a warning to for the nation that judgement is right around the corner . Keep her in your prayers , she has to go before a judge about this
Sure it is. (See 1 Cor 7)
Agree! God bless and protect her from evil.
This isn't the religion form. This is a constitutional issue. Her Christian bona fides and divorces are not relevant.
The judge is wrong and violating her constitutional rights.
First, she is citing her religious beliefs and claiming the natural law right to exercise those beliefs. Those natural law rights are protected from government infringement by the first amendment. This is relevant to the constitutional issue.
Another poster brought up the point that since she apparently has had multiple marriages, that she will be pilloried. He discussed it in the context that there may be some hypocrisy going on (citing religious beliefs for taking a position while not living up to those beliefs she is claiming).
Then you get to our exchange.
Her religious bona-fides are very pertinent to her citation of a natural law right to practice her religion and assertion that her rights are being infringed.
Yes, but that isn’t going to keep her out of jail.
Kim Davis may desire to be a martyr. However, her refusal to follow the dictates of the Federal courts is futile. What is needed is for the county sheriff and the governor, who control armed police, decide to enforce the laws of Kentucky and prevent Federal authorities for taking action against the county clerk. Otherwise she will be jailed and another county clerk who will issue licenses to same sex couples will replace her.
Would someone who is Twitter savvy tweet this to Trump?
This woman needs our prayers and our assistance.
She is us.
the homonazis can’t tolerate Freedom. They want to impose they will on all.
Kudos to this woman for saying no. These gays can find another clerk to marry them
Yes.
The nation is “We the People”, so *anyone* holding fast to reality, reason, and natural order is going to be subjected to persecution (tribulation) if they aren’t already under assault.
It has started with [Christian] bakers, photographers, and county clerks, but the bigger picture is one of mass pogroms upon everyone who refuses to bow to the Fedzilla beast. No longer will anyone be able to straddle the fence. It’s either move to the side of truth or the side of lies.
Then the end will come.
Christians should be literally taking up arms to defend this brave and principled woman. But we won’t. Instead we’ll tsk-tsk at the rot that’s eating away at our society and then go watch TV.
We — and I include myself in that lot — are a sorry bunch. And we deserve to be defeated until we have the courage to stand up.
