She understands scripture - our loyalty and obedience are among the many things that are God's.

This is clearly a matter of conscience.

She was able to do her job, which she was elected to, before the Supreme Court ruling was made.

Why should a Supreme Court ruling now force her from her elected position if it conflicts with her religious views?

And where is the law that codifies the Supreme Court decision? If Supreme Court judges now make law, then why do we need Congress. The Supremes can decide everything.

If Ms. Davis was wearing a burkha, we would not even be having this conversation.
