President Obama warns us the planet will soon lose its ice caps!

Funny, they aren’t getting the message in Western Australia.

It is certainly unusual, but the article gives no specific statistics about how often this might be expected to happen. They only quote one witness, and don't get an opinion from the weather experts (who are often pretty useless anyway.)

Mr Byrne contacted ABC Local Radio late this morning while hiking up Bluff Knoll to report snow continuing to fall thick and fast.

The ABC is putting out this story partly for interest, but also because there is some concern for visitors going bush walking, not prepared for such extreme and unseasonable conditions.

President Obama warns us the planet will soon lose its ice caps!

Then why does he want to order icebreakers?

Oh! Oh! Time for obozo to make a trip to Australia - he can continue on from Alaska - forget about going back to DC. Australia needs him to explain “global warming” to the people there!!!! They are not really experiencing COLD weather or snow. It’s all in their imagination!!!

Oh yes. I fully look forward to reading the news, at the end of this year, saying how it is the hottest year on record.

In the meantime, I must stay rugged up. It has been a bitter southern winter, and the cold lingers.

Now, now. We all know global warming can create wacky weather patterns, including snow, polar ice caps, frozen lakes in June, and glaciers in warm places.
