I don’t believe this poll, and think it is, at best, just an outlier. Monmouth poll ending 8/31/15 shows a more realistic picture, and has Jeb at 4%, which I readily accept.
As an aside, I just don’t like Carson b/c he’s so mealy mouthed and flip flops a lot. We need a warrior for America right now. Cruz and Trump stand out in that regard to me.

The recovered part is somewhat debatable. Dishonoring Reagan by pretending he changed his core views as radically and as often as Trump is laughable. Of course, you also missed Carson’s wish to ban guns in “big cities” as well. They all seem to have warts to varying degrees.

Sadly, I don’t trust any Republican on this issue. And I don’t trust Trump either. But Carson has his points. He would probably be pushed not to enact amnesty, like Bush was.

Some folks are jerking our chain with the Carson vote.

Well, really rather surprising for many reasons.

Yeah his idea of eliminating the VA and cutting services for Vets must resonate with some people

Ben Carson is a brain surgeon, I get that, but he doesn’t understand the issues that this country is facing right now. I don’t think he is strong enough to fight back against the establishment consistently for 4 to 8 years either.

No, the conservative, Trump, is way ahead in two new polls today. But keep posting old crap if it makes you feel better.

“ell, really rather surprising for many reasons.”

No, it’s a push by Jeb and friends in the media. They consider Carson weaker than Trump because Carson has no money and no organization.

It’s petty triangulation by Yeb.

The latest poll out today shows otherwise. Trump 31.7, Carson 15.8 and Bush 4.1.

Carson would take maybe 10% of the black vote or 1-2% more than any white Republican. Blacks are liberals first.

There is no proof Trump is a conservative, except the media says so. He is socially liberal, and fiscally even more liberal.

Do you support Kelo? That alone should be a deal breaker for any candidate.

I bet I know what guys she is attracted to.

Too bad he doesn't support the 2nd Amendment. That is a deal breaker for many of us.

I support We the People getting to choose our candidate-—THE most conservative position out there. I support the conservative position of a CITIZEN who serves, not a career pol, no matter how many specific issues he says he supports.

There is almost nothing in Ben Carson’s stated positions or his character that rational conservative Republicans do not find compelling.

Not true!

Are you ready to give up your right to own a semi-automatic hand gun if you live in a city?

""It depends on where you live," Carson said ."I think if you live in the midst of a lot of people, and I’m afraid that that semi-automatic weapon is going to fall into the hands of a crazy person, I would rather you not have it."
