Last week, in one incident, as many as 180 men, women and children drowned when the boat carrying them capsized off the Libyan coast. “Libya is a major transit route for migrants hoping to make it to Europe,” reported Reuters. “Smuggling networks exploit the country's lawlessness and chaos.”
What Reuters did not explain, at least in any detail, is “why Libya?” In this, Reuters was hardly unique. The same media that gleefully blamed Iraq’s post-Saddam disorder on George Bush refuse to even address the question of who is to blame for the “lawlessness and chaos” in post-Qaddafi Libya.
If the media were curious, they might want to review President Obama’s address to the nation in late March 2011. “We knew that if we . . .waited one more day,” said Obama, “Benghazi, a city nearly the size of Charlotte, could suffer a massacre that would have reverberated across the region and stained the conscience of the world.”
“I refused to let that happen,” added Obama in a radio address soon after. Instead, he authorized military action “to stop the killing.” Less than two months earlier, Obama had not so much as mentioned Libya in his State of the Union address.
Libya had been pretty much out of the news in America since 2003 when its strongman ruler, Muammar el-Qaddafi, was persuaded to abandon his WMD program. He stayed on reasonably good terms with the United States in the succeeding years. In April 2009, in fact, el-Qaddafi’s son Mutassim had a cordial meeting with Hillary Clinton in Washington. “We deeply value the relationship between Libya and the United States,” Hillary told the press with the tall, western-looking young man standing beside her.
In March 2011, the good will el-Qaddafi had mustered suddenly lost all value.

And they own the one in Syria. And in Egypt and the Sinai, and Venezuela. This is the United States destroying more than Bush did. And they are proud of the death and destruction they have brought forth, in the name of “Peace”
Considering they were selling the weapons they collected there, including heat seeking shoulder fired missiles and mortars, I guess they do own Libya. How else could they sell what wasn’t theirs in the first place?
Daffy was relatively well behaved for a ME dictator. We should have backed him against “Arab Spring” or whatever it was called.
The same is true for Mubarak and and Assad.
I sometimes think that Obama and the Euroweenies were actually acting in concert with an effort to create a Caliphate.

He used the US gov’t CIA to create and fund ISIS / ISIL / Daesh that terrorizes Syria, Iraq and Libya.
Sheer creative destruction by the US - killing thousands of innocents, displacing Millions, in a bizarre proxy war with Russia over control of oil power and wealth.
Ultimate irony is that Russia is now forced to bomb our monster, ISIS, in order to save Syria.

The Christians certainly fared better under the dictators. The ME does not do well under democracy.
I read the comments in a British newspaper about the refugee crisis and most of them blamed Americans for going to war for oil in the ME. As Trump says, at least if we had taken the oil we could have gotten something out of it.
It ALL spun off his last code words in fluent Arabic at his Cairo speech and other foreign places, plus here home with his promise of taking side with the muzzies publicly. I still think Obama made a deal with AQ. They gave him Bin Laden (just in time to help bolster his chances of re-election), and he gave them Libya.

No doubt he laughs as his aims are met throughout the ME, EU, and America burns away.
Sadly, this has all come to pass simply because not enough good men were willing to Assemble and come to the aid of country, when it was most needed.

NDAA 2012 prevents citizens from assembling opposition protest, under threat of arrest and indefinite detention.
Not just 4 people were killed but now hundreds and hundreds dying to get away from the chaos that obama and clinton and others created. That includes John McCain and John Boehner.
