In Alaska, Obama depicts stark future without climate action

Submerged countries, abandoned cities and floods of refugees await the world barring urgent action on climate change, President Barack Obama warned Monday, painting a doomsday scenario as he opened a historic visit to Alaska.

In a bid to further his environmental legacy, Obama brought the power of the presidential pulpit to Anchorage and called on other nations to take swift action as negotiations for a global climate treaty near a close. His speech to an Arctic climate summit set the tone for a three-day tour of Alaska that will put the state’s liquefying glaciers and sinking villages on graphic display.

“On this issue—of all issues—there is such a thing as being too late,” Obama said. “And that moment is almost upon us.” […]

Obama has two audiences in mind as he traverses Alaska this week: Alaskans, who are hungry for more energy development to boost the state’s sagging oil revenues, and the broader public, whose focus Obama hopes to concentrate on the need for drastic action to combat global warming, including a climate treaty that he hopes will help solidify his environmental legacy. …

This will be quite common from now on if we have either Hillary or Jeb as our President. Both intend on carrying forward with the Obama’s policies.

It is the UN’s 2030 Agenda, to alter our world’s nations. the U.N. plan calls for more centralized planning of economies, more regulations, and less freedom.

The activists insist they want to ‘green’ the world and establish a sustainable economy.

In truth, it stinks to high heaven of feudalism, and we’re all expendable serfs.

It is a scam aimed at confiscating property to fund more leftist nonsense.

It is a U.N. world-wide redistribution of wealth (an article from awhile back):

http://news.investors.com/ibd-editorials/021015-738779-climate-change-scare-tool-to-destroy-capitalism.htm

At a news conference last week in Brussels, Christiana Figueres, executive secretary of U.N.’s Framework Convention on Climate Change, admitted that the goal of environmental activists is not to save the world from ecological calamity but to destroy capitalism.

“This is the first time in the history of mankind that we are setting ourselves the task of intentionally, within a defined period of time, to change the economic development model that has been reigning for at least 150 years, since the Industrial Revolution,” she said.

Referring to a new international treaty environmentalists hope will be adopted at the Paris climate change conference later this year, she added: “This is probably the most difficult task we have ever given ourselves, which is to intentionally transform the economic development model for the first time in human history.”

Thanks to Obama the US is submerged in debt. Cities like Detroit are being abandoned. And floods of refugees are leaving Africa, The Middle East and Mexico. All due to his failed policies, not climate change. He is not predicting the future that climate change will bring, he is telling you the change his policies have brought about today, by projecting their failures onto climate change.

Even AL Sharpton chimed in on this one within the past couple of months, saying it was important to blacks because they were exposed to more “carbon”. A radio host up here played an excerpt, and it would have been comical but for the fact that the jabbering idiot was so earnest...

Oh DANG! You mean Ice melts in Alaska? Wow, it must be serious. Lets spend money we don't have, to fix this problem by buying carbon credits on a "market" which will make us feel better. Yea, that'll stop ice from melting.

( / heavy sarcasm )

OK!! Everybody pay attention!

Lesson for today:

1. The sun is 1,300,000 times as big as the earth.

2. The sun is a ball of fire that controls the climates of all its planets.

3. The earth is one of the sun’s planets.

4. The earth is a speck in comparison to the size of the sun.

5. Inhabitants of the earth are less than specks.

Study Question: How do less-than-specks in congress plan to control the sun?

They have a plan and it starts by confiscating as much taxpayer’s $ as possible.

And if his action had the desired effect (it won’t) he’d bring Alaska’s climate to the lower 48. Glaciers, far less arable land. Yay!
