If they get to guilt trip the demographic majority for its ethnicity, policing everyone’s pronoun for the feelings of a few sexually confused people isn’t a major step.
When you create an Office for Diversity and Inclusion, the occupants will find things to keep themselves busy, whether needed or not. Best not to create such offices in the first place.

I have a solution. Instead of him or his use the term outy as in look at that outy run, outy runs fast. Instead of her or she use the term inny as in look at that inny, that inny sure is hawt! For those in transition the term whack-off is used. As in Caitlin Jenner is poor driver, that whack-off is really unsafe. For tranny’s in transition from inny to prosthetic the term pegie is prefered. So no more binary biased terns and instead use the anatomical slang terms of inny, outy, whack-off and peggy are the acceptable alternative to keep the PC Pervs from getting their panties in a bunch and going on a PMS rampage.
If I were a UT alumnus, I would stop giving to the school and quit the alumni association. Tennessee’s chicken-hearted legislature may be too whipped to defund, but private citizens don’t have to be.
