Oh, there’s no comparison. Black people commit the overwhelming majority of crimes against black people and they also commit far more crime against white people than do white people against black people.

My own posts here make clear that I don’t miss living with black people.

That said, my concern is police abuse and police abuse is an equal opportunity oppressor.

Visit any of these sites and you’ll see that police abuse is not limited to black neighborhoods.

Let’s figure that 25% of AA’s will actively participate. That’ll less than 5% (12 mil) of the population that thinks its cool to hold their 9mm sideways and their sagpants up with their other hand, up against 40% (100 mil) trained, prepared and motivated redneck patriots.

Don’t think I’d want to be up against the 8 to 1 odds not even considering the gun skill and tenacity of the rednecks.

Actually, as soon as either to cops start shooting back or the rednecks join in, the africans will decide ‘their life does count’ and will quickly turn on their crazy bruthas who is really messing up a good thing.

I’ve been listening to the news from another room tonight. Trying to tune it out but I haven’t met with success yet. I was trying to remember when we’ve heard about a cop being shot/murdered - either in the line of duty or otherwise - who was a complete dirt bag - abandoned his wife, children, took up drugs, became a crooked/corrupt cop, a disgrace to his community, abusive of his parents etc. I’m not saying all law enforcement officers are angels but they do have to act in the line of duty, take action and shouldn’t be judged for making those snap decisions. We lose officers to the crumb bums on the street and chances are we’re losing a good husband (wife), or son (daughter), or father (mother), or brother (sister).

I don’t think black lives matter. Blacks consider black lives pretty cheap in their own neighborhoods. They don’t mind or care who their bullets find. Let’s start telling the truth... It’s not enough to say “ALL LIVES MATTER.” Let’s see HUGE HEADLINES and stories every time a black is gunned down by another black i.e., the little black girl studying in her own home on her own bed just a week ago!!!
I would have a hard time believing that bullet came through the house fired from a gun by a white person.

I wouldn’t compare the two at all.

Because just like some blacks are criminals, some cops are criminals. All blacks aren’t some blacks. All cops aren’t some cops.

If you generalize, like the guy who shot the cop last week, or like any other racist on the face of the earth, you are bound to live in a world of hurt and take others with you.

Want to talk specifics? Good idea. Want to generalize? Bad, dangerous idea. The guy last week generalized. Now he’s headed for the death chamber and an officer is dead.

I don't think it is race alone.

How many 60-year-old black grandmothers are being shot by cops during traffic stops or walking along the street?

Might be something else involved.

Does being “snotty” include attempted murder? That’s what Martin and Brown did, and each got exactly what he deserved.

Where was I generalizing any more or less than many people whose posts i have read blaming this on police brutality, because it sure sounds to me that some people want to blame ALL this we are seeing on police brutality.

If someone wants to generalize in that way, I think they will be in a world of hurt, and are going to drag down an entire society with them because they cannot face the truth or the facts.

But since you asked, here is some specific data on black on white violence. I implore you not to generalize, and say that because I make these points below that I am being racist and painting all blacks, because that is not what I am doing at all. That is a tactic some people seem to enjoy utilizing on anyone who dares point out the FACTS. These are facts, pure and unadulterated from government sources that illustrate this issue.

People in this country may ask: "Is there an epidemic of racial violence in this country?"

The answer to this question may be found in this video by Bill Whittle: VIDEO: Bill Whittle: Ferguson and the Real Race War

In summary, here are the raw statistics for general violent crime Black-on-White and White-on-Black crime from the National Crime Victimization Survey (the branch of the DOJ responsible for collecting these statistics) here are the raw results for 2010:

Here is the RAW disparity between Black-on-White and White-on-Black general violent crime:

But this raw data is misleading, due to disparity in the sizes of the population. Here are the numbers that show the population totals for black and white populations in 2010:

If you normalize the statistics to take into account the relative sizes of the populations, Here are the numbers that reflect the real magnitude of Black-on-White versus White-on-Black VIOLENT ASSAULT crime:

Furthermore, if you narrow the statistics shown above on violent assault (GENERAL VIOLENT ASSAULT) to a specific type of violent assault (IN THE CASE BELOW, VIOLENT AGGRAVATED ASSAULT) , the statistics that Black-on-White versus White-on-Black VIOLENT ASSAULT crime take on an entirely different magnitude:

When one looks at these statistics, one can only reach the same conclusion that Bill Whittle did in his video:
"Oh, there's an epidemic of racial violence in America, all right."

Bill Whittle further accurately states:
"Critics will say that I am using these statistics to justify the murder of Michael Brown. But I said at the beginning – if Michael Brown were shot in cold blood then the police officer needs to pay the price for murder. This has nothing to do with Michael Brown. This has EVERYTHING to do with the narrative that the President, the Attorney General, and all of these race hustlers are trying to create using Michael Brown.

There is, in fact, a racial war of violence and hatred in America. Open racism is simply not tolerated in white America today, but black racism is the toxic glue that holds the progressive coalition together. Tolerance of – in fact, as we see from the events in Ferguson, open encouragement of black rage at a narrative that not only does not exist but reverses the daily outrages that do exist, is what defines modern progressivism. It is the politics of envy, anger, entitlement, lawlessness, violence and bald-faced lies.

And of all the promises broken by this man, surely none is more heartbreaking than the one promise that got him elected in the first place: the promise of a post-racial future. He and his racist progressive cohorts can never surrender the weapon that has gotten them everything, not the least of which is personal political power and trillions of dollars of redistributed wealth. And this latest outrage in Furguson is yet another example – as if another was needed among the economic wreckage, creeping totalitarianism, and foreign-policy disasters -- that he and his leftist cohorts would rather rule over ruins than disappear into the dustbin of a healthy and healed nation."

(All statistics, graphs and quotes from Bill Whittle's "Ferguson and the Real Race War")

And, by the way, these statistics are from 2010. I would bet they are far worse now.

Here’s an idea: Why don’t we have an impartial panel of randomly selected Americans from a wide spectrum of the population, sit them down with the files of people who have been characterized as being brutalized and/or treated unfairly by police.

We have them look at the files, including all the history on the people as well as the circumstances around specific incidents, and have them graded.

There are sure to be cases of people doing absolutely nothing wrong who were set upon by police. That has and always will happen.

But I am willing to bet that there is going to be a huge percentage of these where normal, law-abiding people would look at the history and circumstances and conclude these people weren’t just innocent people who were prosecuted by police because of their skin pigmentation, but will likely point to the file and wonder why this person was in the situation that led to their involvement with police in the first place.

But we see a lot of people who are willing-no...EAGER to throw their lot in with people like Michael Brown and Trayvon Martin, cry police brutality, then when the facts come out, funny...you never hear from them again until the next criminal is killed by law enforcement, and they repeat the act all over again.

I fully expect it from the Media and liberals, but I don’t expect to see it on Free Republic. But we do.

The issue there is police departments (not all but many) purposely hire people that easily follow orders and are more prone to this type of behavior. If you’re a free thinker and someone with a moral compass they often weed you out. Do some research on the tests cops take to get hired...I’m not saying it’s deliberate, but that’s what the result is.

Any evidence the cop that was killed was a thug... any at all...

Isn't that the standard in shootings? Assume the deceased is a thug until proven other wise?

absolutely not. I’m just saying it’s what’s going on. Until we understand that reality we can’t fix it.

We need to prosecute both corrupt cops and people killing cops.
