Oh please. The Waltons if they were a nation, would be one of the wealthiest nations on earth. They got there by selling merchandise manufactured in many cases in countries where workers are treated like slaves. In the US, many of their workers get government benefits to make ends meet, so all taxpayers, even those who refuse to shop at WalMart, have that burden. When they come into an area, they offer good enough merchandise at low-balled prices until all the competition starves. Add to that unemployed and underemployed US workers who instead of decent manufacturing jobs work in the service economy, while the masters pocket the profits.

Globalism is a great thing....for the globalists. And that's about it.

Yeah and the WORST part of this is those really HEAVY chains WM forces their employees to wear in order to keep them there.
