I wish they were the majority here. I would like to know what the breakdown of the Jewish vote for president would be without the Orthodox voting conservatively.
Why such an industrious and intelligent and successful people give a dam about those who dont want to work, stop having babies, or get ahead in life is beyond me.
Although my Jewish friends from Brooklyn are moderately conservative.

My church replaced it’s pews with chairs. It has become fairly common practice. Not unorthodox at all.

Orthodox WILL be the majority in America...eventually. but it will sadly take 20 years or so. In the meantime the Upper West Side self-hating commies still dominate.

The reason the two groups are the same - they believe that the holy books are the word of the divine and literal.
Evangelical Christians and liberal Jews see it as literature, stories and utterly malleable to today’s politics.
That’s why the conservative Christians and Jews are in agreement on things like no to abortion, no to homosexual and same-sex unions, etc.
That’s what I’m assuming.
