Well, I hate to tell Ms Kelly, but she has kind of negated the possibility that a substantial number of her Fox viewers would follow her to another network. That will certainly affect how much said network(s) would be willing to offer her.
Actually she had the best ratings of the year when she returned from vacation Monday.
“”The Kelly File” delivered 3.1 million viewers on Monday, the program’s largest audience of the year and more than the rest of the cable news competition on CNN, MSNBC and HLN combined in the 9 p.m. Eastern Time hour, Nielsen data showed. Kelly was also the cable news leader in the time slot among the 25-to-54 age group most desired by advertisers for cable news programming, scoring 603,000 viewers.”
I don’t see why she would want to move to a lower rated network. But then, this is Politico reporting.
Self correction, WND, not politico.
I read today that during her time slot this week after her return the FOX ratings dropped 13% and CNN rose 22%. If I were CNN I would rethink making an offer to her.
That's what she'll be doing though if she goes over to cnn.
By the way BFAM - Welcome to FR. Great article here that you spotted.
