The Department of Energy (DOE) will pay a Diversity and Inclusion Specialist up to $118,000 a year, according to a new job opening with the federal government.
The full-time position, which opened up on Monday, will pay a minimum of $90,000 a year to a person who will come up with effective inclusive practices and policies for the agency.
The Diversity and Inclusion Specialist position is located in the Office of Diversity and Inclusion (ODI), Office of Economic Impact and Diversity, U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), the job posting stated. The office is responsible for providing leadership, direction, coordination, evaluation and support for managing a diverse workforce and establishing effective inclusive practices and policies at DOE.
To apply, one must be a diversity and inclusion expert. The person hired will provide DOE managers with guidance.
The Diversity and Inclusion Specialist serves as a subject matter expert and advisor to the Department of Energy (DOE) leadership on diversity management and inclusive practices, and assists with leading the integration of diversity and inclusion principles of into DOEs workplace culture, the posting said. Provides advice and guidance to supervisors and managers on best practices associated with leading employees from diverse backgrounds and perspectives, and aligns inclusion initiatives with the organizational mission, goals, strategies and metrics, in accordance with Executive Order 13583, and guidance provided by the Office of Personnel Management.
The position also requires developing a DOE-wide action plan to accomplish diversity and inclusion outcomes every year. The plans were mandated by the executive order signed by President Barack Obama in August 2011.
The position does not require a college degree and pays between $90,823.00 and $118,069.00 a year.

To do this, they must forcefully discriminate against whites and asians.

Well, that's an easy assignment. Simply create a new policy requiring that all new hires must have an apostrophe in his or her name. What's the next assignment, boss?
Not one of those jobs would be available if it weren’t for the long and coercive arm of fedgov. I’ve written some proposals to govt agencies and the “diversity” and WMDVBE requirements are sickening. You need a position like this to be filled if you want to sell to the behemoth. Few companies refuse to sell to leviathan because of this. Instead they create positions like this to prove to federal procurement “officers” they are correctly playing the game.
Our political officers are really well paid.

As far as I can read in the written job description the candidate really does nothing...except pander to whomever “needs” his/her/its services.
I’ve spent my life as an electrical engineer and technical writer and I’m totally flabbergasted at trying to understand what this job description actually says or indicates any real need for the position to start with.
However, those “big words” really are amazing to see.

The transfer will serve three purposes; first, it’s a reward for serving the regime; second, it creates a cadre to protect Barry’s legacy, by slow-rolling efforts to overturn or modify his “reforms,” and third, it complicates efforts by a Republican president to clean up the bureaucratic nightmare left by Obama.

The transfer under Obama will likely involved hundreds of his minions and it’s probably underway already. We typically don’t find out the exact number until the next administration takes office.

Any grade school kid could do that job, diversity and inclusion is the only thing they learn.
And the blacks who have gov't jobs...Most of those jobs involve ministering to blacks and minorities and distributing taxpayers money to them. There are not as many Hispanics in gov't as there are blacks. Going by their percentage of the population of course.
And blacks w gov't jobs also includes all those phony professorships in blacks studies departments at public universities
The person who gets this job has already been selected. The specs were tailored for him/her. It is a set-up

Here in NJ as the money runs out a lot of gibsmedats hoping to end up on some bureaucratic payroll are ending up disappointed (and unemployable).
My town (at this point primarily Hispanic) is forced to allow Newark NJ residents to apply for positions while Newark itself is allowed to have a residency requirement; as more and more working people realize their tax dollars are just getting sucked into welfare centers they pack up and leave (following the employers that are doing the same)..
BTW, you are referring to the “poverty industry” - a massive re-distribution of the ants’ earnings to the grasshoppers who won’t work...
