There are 17 official “major” candidates in the GOP race. Pretty amazing when you consider how Trump has been able to utterly dominate the news coverage. Other than Cruz and maybe Carson and Bush, you hardly hear about anybody else.

The other candidates have no financing of their own or from voters to be able to be seriously considered.
It’s been revealed the other candidates are all financed by the Bush PAC money in a strategy to splinter the field so badly that Jeb Bush can do a cakewalk to the nomination. But the strategy is not working because of Donald Trump.
If anything it provides another disgusting look at what politicians will do for money.
George Pataki?
Jim Gilmore?
Chris Christie?
Etc.
It’s like:
“Hey Jim! We want to finance you for a million dollars to run for prez, what say you?”
“Run for president? Million dollars? Why me?”
“Well Jim, we like how you’re known to folks in West Virginia.”
“It’s Virginia.”
“No matter, will you run?”
“Hardly anyone knows of me. Let me think....free travel? Free barbecues? Free publicity?”
“You got it!”
“Well, I...well let’s make it 2 million.”
“One and a half mil.”
“You’re twisting my arm here. Alright then!”
“Good to have you on board Kim.”
“It’s Jim.”
“No matter. And the Bush family sends you their regards.”
