Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush visits deep South Texas today for a private meeting with local officials to discuss border security, the economy and other issues.
Bush will also attend a campaign luncheon where contribution levels start at $1,000, while the highest level of $15,000 buys priority seating for two and membership in the so-called Texas Leadership Committee, comprised of generous Texas GOP donors.
Before leaving the Rio Grande Valley, the former Florida governor will hold an afternoon news conference.
Republican front-runner Donald Trump, who toured Laredo in July, commented Monday morning on Fox and Friends that Bush would find illegal immigration at the border is not an act of love.

I thought Yeb was going to have a family reunion at the border.
What’s the matter Jebby? You don’t have the ‘backbone’ to stand up to the ‘anchor babies’ coming over here? Or how about the gang-bangers?
No, your just one of those ‘spineless sissies’ that we are sick of.....
For some reason, “Jeb Bush” and “Border security” don’t seem to go well together.
How much did Trump collect when he was there??
Answer; NOTHING.
The only person that has any plan for anything American is Trump. Period.
At this point, after reading about Walker, and Cruz. They are afraid of stepping in it. Trump isn’t. We don’t want flippy floppies. We don’t want liars. We don’t want debaters. We want someone that will get the stuff done that is hurting Americans, and we see these people skirting the issues and talking out both ends. The same as we have for years. Trump comes along and takes the bull by the horns. That’s why Trump will win in a landslide.
They do if you add “enemy of” between “Bush” and “Border”.
Someone could get rich selling bumper stickers with, “BUILD THE WALL!”
Go for it!!! You would make a fortune....I’ll buy some!!!
There is plenty of readings about the Bush family and Mexican connections. The info as to Jeb and his wife including her Mexican family is really interesting. Jeb’s wife and her family relations makes for very interesting reading and thoughts. The Bush family history is very interesting. Give credit to papa Bush for his WWII service but keep it in context with thousands of others who died or lived through WWII.
His wife was able to go to private schools in Mexico because her father was an illegal alien working in the US and would send money back.
She lived with him for a time in CA, but it is not known what her legal status was.
