Trump Campaign Manager Derides Consultant Class: ‘It Drives Them Crazy’ They Have No Say...
Breitbart ^ | 08/24/2015 | Robert Wilde

Sunday night Donald Trump’s Campaign Manager, Corey Lewandowski, lambasted the GOP establishment consultant class, when he joined Breitbart’s senior political investigative reporter Matthew Boyle on Breitbart News Sunday on Sirius XM Patriot radio, channel 125.

Lewandowski explained that what most infuriates the establishment consultants is they don’t have any say in Trump’s campaign or platform. “It drives them crazy. They want to say ‘I’ve run a campaign in the past. Pay me for my knowledge. I’ve been involved with previously failed presidential campaigns,’” he said.

With Trump “That’s not how his campaign works,” added Lewandowski. “We don’t want these consultants who talk about the glory old days of races they were involved with that weren’t successful. Anything that they can do to try and control Mr. Trump does not work.”

Tip of the iceberg. Finally something may start the process of cleaning out the GOPe and reloading it with REAL CONSERVATIVES patriots.

From another perspective, the “government for the government” has some developing momentum back toward a “government for the people”....it is going to be interesting.

Interesting background: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corey_Lewandowski

I like having attended the Naval War College. That could come in handy.

If someone managed a campaign that FAILED, how is that a recommendation that I hire them? They obviously don’t see the stupidity of their applications.....................................

I cringe whenever I read that someone who worked on the Romney campaign was hired by a candidate. One can only assume they want to lose.

Politics is a huge industry. A money-making industry. Especially these days, fortunes are made in it.
Yet it produces nothing.

I believe political consulting is the only “career” where your failures are enhanced on your resume. And to show how stupid the politicians are, as Trump points out, they hire the losers over and over.

It's kinda like the FIVE on FOX hiring that drunk who managed Dukakis's campaign rout - like nhe's an expert or something. Bob Wreckel or something.

I don’t think Trump would listen much to any political consultant, unsuccessful or otherwise. That’s a big part of his charm.

Lewandowski is right on this... but it’s even worse than he thinks. The reason so many of our guys get elected - go to Washington and DO NOTHING is because the consultant class can get a ham sandwich elected.

They give these men ( who should be selling ties at JC Penney) magic words...phrases culled and focus tested. They make these congress people sound like what we want when they’re NOTHING... no one home but an easily controlled narcissist.

Those are the people we need to get rid of... them and the consultant class that sells us a bill of goods.

They can’t control The Donald. He is not one of them. He does not need them. Folks, this is war! An epic battle is brewing. It is not the one we expected, but it is the one that needs to be fought.

It is incredible to think what DT has done to upset the establishment. No one can truly predict where this will go.

>> Politics is a huge industry. A money-making industry.

And those who choose it for their occupation tend to have a certain poverty in their character that makes your average used car salesman or lawyer look like St. Augustine.

I despise that (R) political consulting class — and their close relatives, the pundits — as much as I despise ‘rats.
