In Mobile, Alabama, last night, GOP front-runner Donald Trump held one of the biggest campaign rallies by any presidential candidate yet this year, and by far the biggest by any Republican candidate. Depending on who was counting, between 20,000 to 30,000 people (but fewer than the near 40,000 the Trump campaign had predicted) half-filled the University of Southern Alabamas Ladd-Peebles Stadium just days after the venue had been selected. Why did Trump visit Alabama and not one of the earlier primary states? Because the state is part of the so-called SEC primary on March 1, in which five Deep South states will vote in what could be one of the most decisive days of the GOP primary battle.

There were also four aircraft-related moments at the rally. Before Trumps arrival, as some fans had waited more than half a day for the candidate to appear, separate aircraft messages advertised support for Jeb Bush and shrimp, respectively. According to Politico, a plane dragging the message Trump 4 higher taxes. Jeb 4 prez made several passes over the stadium, as well as another pushing local shrimp baskets.

The pre-event notices were 30-40K. Nevermind the FACT that 16K who registered for a ticket did not show up.
The ecstatic look on the mom's face. Donald caressing her baby. The baby's hand on Donald.
Reading all posts with interest.
I listened to the Donald. It was entertaining, provocative and covered a range of issues over which thinking Americans should be rightfully concerned. I am thankful to Trump to his take-no-prisoners approach, his dismissiveness of all things PC and ability to color outside the lines of conventional politics. And living in a Hispanic majority area, his immigration policy does not bother me either; most Hispanics I know want the illegals to go home too. But Trump is not the guy for representative, separation-of-powers government. All of us have worked for folks who were powerful..or thought they were...and that kind of egotistic bombastic leadership does not always play well. I does not with Obama I cannot imagine it doing so on the other side of the political aisle..
Local news here reported 30,000 in attendance, showed video of a packed crowd.
An honest reporter would have said: 20,000 to 30,000 attended in spite of the rain and thunderstorms that had moved around the area all week and threatened the Friday night event.
Trump was on his game, forceful, funny, to the point, setting out his ideas, even signed an old edition of one of his books.
I loved the four women that had the tee shirts that said:
“Obama you are fired!” all lined up so when the cameras panned the audience you could see them...the people there, and there were many, of all different kinds, Hispanics, whites, blacks, Chinese, you name them, they were there....it was GREAT!!!
Whatever.
The number is larger than other candidate by light years
What this country needs right now is an egotistical, bombastic person to set the sails of this country back on course. Anything less and we continue to morph into a 3rd world hell hole.
Some folks had predicted this sort of reporting, so it's hilarious to see it come true.
People were allowed to stand on the field to be closer to the podium. The stadium could have been 3/4 filled otherwise.
The desperation is palpable.
TRUMPMANIA
This word is designed to marginalized Trump supporters with the idea they are merely following him because he’s a well known guy.
No, they couldn’t be following him because is telling the truth the media, the Democrats, and the Republican leadership refused to admit to for decades.
Shameful.
CNN was one of the few media outlets that reported the attendance correctly. Amazing!!!
“Mobile, Alabama (CNN) Donald Trump brought 30,000 supporters from deep red Alabama to a Friday night pep rally in a football stadium, the latest sign that the Republican front-runner has broad, nationwide strength.
“The event was previously planned to be held at the nearby Civic Center but was moved to the 43,000-seat Ladd-Peebles Stadium — a venue normally home to high school football games — to accommodate the crowd. The City of Mobile confirmed late Friday that 30,000 people attended.”
Just went to the link and scrolling down to find the comments, and I saw an article with men butt naked in the beach playing in the waves, title: How to Flirt and Make Friends at a Nude Beach.
