I’ve got to remember to get my CCL.

By the way, does anyone know the law concerning carrying a pistol and a squirrel rifle in an auto from Texas to Oklahoma?

If you have a TX CHL, no problem with your sidearm. OK & many other States

honor Tx CHLs.

Long guns should be no problem. No doubt, hundreds of rifles & shotguns cross the OK/TX border every day without interest by either State.

I expect you'd be wise to have a Hunting License for both States, though, if you're going hunting and expect to transport game back home...

If your guns are unloaded and locked in the trunk, you can travel just about anywhere in the US with no problem. If your vehicle doesn’t have a trunk, invest in an airline approved lockable gun case.
