That’s all true, but Trump is playing to the crowd. I can see the crowd responding, but what about all the principled conservatives who have vowed never again to vote for the lesser of two evils?

Truly principled conservatives are as common as hen’s teeth. They have proven that in every primary as long as I can remember and that goes back to Goldwater.
Soon “principled conservatives” won’t have a ball to take home or a home to take it to.
