The president being the first poses an interesting scenario. It is hard to envision an incumbent president better placed to determine his successor. That may be by design, or it may be a perfect storm of circumstances coming together in recent months.
Barely a month or so ago it was a forgone conclusion that Hillary would be the nominee. Today, her campaign is in shambles and the DNC is pushing panic buttons.

The problem for the GOP establishment (GOPe) is that they have helped to create a lot of Howard Beales due to their refusal to thwart Obama’s actions (healthcare, Border security, failure to deport, Cuba, etc). An additional truth is that the anger of the Howard Beales is fully warranted. The GOPe just does not recognize this simple fact: they have opened the door for a man like Donald Trump.
These people crack me up. They call Trump ‘Howard Beale’ because they don’t get it. Trump isn’t just screaming for people to vent, to revolt. He’s an optimist offering to do something, to fix some of these problems these traitors have created. He’s the only one really talking about fixing anything.
The only thing I agree with is that both sides are working overtime to try and control our elections.
I believe he is saying that Trump is appealing to the Howard Beale’s of the nation.
But haven’t you heard that analogy from these nerds, that Trump is Beale? I have.
Next time one of these ‘nerds’ says something like that to you, ask him/her....
