I actually asked Cruz about repealing the 14th Amendment at a meeting when he was running in the Senate primary. He didn’t believe in repealing it then.

I saw a Cruz video that was unclear. However, so far, I’ve not known Cruz to be a dissembler.

I’m certain he would not be for “repealing” the 14th amendment— and I’m thinking that PERHAPS he’s distinguishing between immigrants who are lawfully here, and those who are illegally here- from which no benefits can extend.

Huge difference between “repealing the 14th amendment” and simply clarifying and codifying into law the fact that the words “and subject to the jurisdiction of...” would exclude those that are in the country illegally.

That’s because he knows it doesn’t have to be repealed to be fixed.

The guy is a Constitutional genius.
