“Trump might just turn out to be our Robespierre.”
Oh good grief. The drama of it all. Robespierre, sheesh.
No, they would not.
Much prayer is needed here.
I think Barry Farber needs to get out more.
Trump is riding a wave of popularity, but is he really vetted for office or like Obama is he just the latest anti-establishment hope of the disaffected masses?LOL! Cruz is politically more like Obama than Trump. They're both first term back-benchers with no legislative history and both supposedly "constitutional lawyers". Where does the notion that Obama was an anti-establishment candidate come from?
How is Cruz "vetted" for office?
He's a lawyer that isn't smart enough to know you should read what you're going to sign before signing it...But of course you don't have to when you have slobbering idiots believing you're the smartest in the room, while at the same time the slobbering idiots say "you (the smartest in the room) got rolled".
Agreed. Trump has used the media for his own ends. He wasn’t created by them. There’s a big difference.
If Ted Cruz were the nominee the party establishment will do everything in their power to undermine him. Boehner and McConnell would rather have a Democrat than a president from their own party who isn’t one of the boys. With a Democrat they are still the leaders of the party, and they can use him to scare conservatives into voting GOPe. With someone like Cruz, they won’t be able to set the agenda.
Of course the same holds true for Trump, except he doesn’t need them. And unlike Cruz, he can attract most independents and even a lot of Democrats. The more the GOPe attacks him the more he will appeal to people who otherwise would never vote for anyone with an R next to their name.
Did you vote for Romney?
Trump is going to be president then you and the career corrupt politicians will be fired.
Dead-enders? What does that mean?
It’s not really your business, but I’ll tell you anyway since you seem to be attempting to make a point. Yes, I did vote for Romney. As I posted earlier, I was not one of those who stayed home in 2012 (a decision made by many that allowed Obama to have a second term). Since I didn’t want to vote for Obama, I voted for Romney. After Dole, McCain and Romney, I wised up. No more wishful thinking. No more squishy light-weights for me.
Does that answer your question?
You picked an odd time to repent.
Better late than never.
Oops, reading glasses and better comprehension might be helpful to me.
That is my greatest fear!
I’m old enough to remember George Wallace.
