The Donald Trump campaign confirms that the Republican candidate will hold a "pep rally" Friday, August 21 at the Mobile Civic Center.
Doors will open to the public at 5:30 p.m. with the event to begin at 7:00 p.m. The event is free but each person must have a ticket, which can be obtained online by clicking this link.
Officials at the Civic Center say the Trump campaign first contacted them Monday morning. They say Trump is paying the usual rental fee.
The City of Mobile said it's excited to welcome Trump and the attention he brings with his campaign.
"It's our understanding that the Trump campaign has at least 100 national media coming as an entourage. So it's a real moment to show off our city a little bit. So we want to be at our best and we want them to have a good experience while they are here," said George Talbot, City of Mobile.
