One thing I’ve learned about the GOPe since living in New Hampshire is that they would gladly die before thinking about a way to peel Democrats away from their establishment.
There are a lot more votes among white Democrats who get a paycheck and a W-2 form than there are among “Hispanics” and “blacks living on the welfare plantation”.

Matthews used to be a blue dog democrat. Now and then you see twinges of it. He gets Trump-has done so from the very beginning.
Well if the fact that Matthews gets Trump isn’t a warning, then be prepared to be stampeded right over the cliff.
