Late last week there was an interesting exchange on Fox News involving a couple of anti-choice radicals and the eminent scholar Geraldo Rivera. Geraldo valiantly defended the honor of Planned Parenthood, pointing out that, despite the unhinged rantings of women-hating right wingers, there is such a thing as a “good abortion.” A good abortion, he explained, “is sitting in a clean place, where the woman’s health is protected! As opposed to a back alley! As opposed to a back alley where the woman dies with some butcher cutting her to pieces!”
Indeed, women should not be butchered in back alleys; they should be butchered inside Planned Parenthoods. This is America, people. Women deserve to be cut to pieces and left for dead by doctors, not untrained amateurs. As for the babies, they will of course die and be mutilated no matter the location, but it’s important for this to happen in a safe and clean environment. Besides, if they’re killed in the mythical Back Alley, there won’t be anyone around to harvest their organs.

The “back alley” thing is always puzzling. It seems that there is a natural law, missed by Einstein and all the gifted scientists, that, when a woman wants an abortion, she will, if no safe, reputable environment is handy, invariably seek out a back alley abortionist who uses a coat hanger. The fact that she KNOWS she will die a horrendous death plays no part in the decision; but she is impelled by the natural law that is operative in her psyche. She has no choice in the matter.
Imho, this is a winner. It reaches right out & grabs you by the collar. I had an immediate reaction (WHAT?! WTH?!) I wish I had a bumper sticker that said this.

Obviously Jerry Rivers seems to think that only PP has the right to butcher people.
The only practical way to minimize the number of abortions is to make tying their tubes mandatory at the same time. Supporters of both sides of the issue, however, would not support that.
Because legal is always right and just. The Willowbrook State School was handling their patients legally until they got shut down.
I don’t care who you are, pro-choice or pro-life, murdering a baby is murder whether the baby is a “fetus” in the womb or a toddler in the bathtub. You kill it and you are a murderer. It ain’t “fetal tissue” is is a BABY!
Why is that so tough for some idjits to get through their big dumb heads?
There can be a 15 minute window where a legal abortion can take place.
It can only happen after 48 hours after the live babies delivery.
After the waiting period and within that 15 minute window the mother of the child is the only one that can perform the abortion and it must be done with a concrete cider block in the presence of at least 2 blood relatives.
An exception for Heraldo’s abortion. It can take place any time now.
