I live in a small town and recoiled in disgust (not obviously) at a woman who brought in her children to our local pediatrician we were visiting. She was dressed in a full hijab....fully covered in a ‘black fabric bag’ except for her face.
I’m sorry, but it made me feel like I wanted to throw her a pair of ‘Daisy Dukes’.
I can’t even imagine what she feels like in our southern climate in August.
I think that’s why they all move so slowly-they are hot!
Uh, compared to Arabia? The south is a gentle climate.
Not to mention, they are nothing like our ancestors wore not so many years ago - much heavier, and more layered.
