The primary judge currently doing the Obama administration’s bidding is Arizona Federal District Court Judge G. Murray Snow (a George W. Bush appointee) who is holding Contempt of Court hearings against Sheriff Arpaio.
The Arizona federal district court has 2 Clinton judges, 4 Bush judges including Snow, and 9 Obama judges.
Sheriff Arpaio asked Judge Snow to recuse himself but Snow denied the request.
At one point, Judge Snow also asked Arpaio about an alleged “investigation” of Snow's wife, which was a mischaracterization of a probe launched by one of Arpaio’s attorneys of a report from a citizen of prejudicial statements made by Cheri Snow about Arpaio in a restaurant attributed to her husband about Arpaio’s upcoming election.
Neither Snow nor his wife has denied that the comments were made.
