The original is definitely nice for the historical significance and the cool factor, but the Big Boy would be more practical, esp. if you already own a pistol of the same caliber.
A Winchester with a side loading gate might come in handy when under zombie attack, though.

I would go for the ‘original’, because I am, besides a HiPower guy, a lover of all things lever action. (maybe because JM Browning had his hand in that, too?)
The Winchester design does make the axiom:
“Load two, shoot two.” more of a reality and swiftness, compared to unshouldering, reaching near the muzzle to twist open the loading tube, to insert cartridge by cartridge, put the tube back down and over the pin slot, then shouldering.
