Trump’s immigration plan is something that used to be bipartisan. Even Senate Democratic leader Sen. Harry Reid (D-NV)2% , back in the early 1990s, supported the major tenets of the plan—putting American workers first when it comes to immigration. Now the entire Democratic Party and most of the Republican Party has abandoned American workers in favor of special interests seeking cheap foreign labor and political interests seeking a different and more liberal voting base.

I wish someone would ask why the same party that now wants to bring in the entire population of Mexico plus whatever other dregs of humanity want to come across the Southern border sent more than one hundred federal agents to Florida to kidnap one six year old Cuban boy named Elian Gonzalez to send him back to Castro’s hellhole after Elian’s mother lost her life trying to get him out of that hellhole. Many of those who now want an open border referred to Elian Gonzalez as an “illegal alien”, a term they refuse to utter now. How could a six year old who was BROUGHT HERE by a parent be an illegal alien simply because he did not get to shore on his own but was pulled out of the water and carried to safety but convicted criminals who cross the border illegally are “undocumented immigrants” and their children are “anchor babies”? I will never forget what Slick Willie’s minions did in that case.
